CONTROL OF LEGIONELLA
When we talk about Water Hygiene we are referring to the prevention of Legionella which is a bacteria present in most water systems capable of causing a potentially life threatening illness known as Legionaries Disease.
Employers & property owners are required to control the risk of exposure to legionella bacteria in accordance with ACoP (L8) The control of Legionella Bacteria and COSHH Regulations.
As a specialist water hygiene contractor our technicians are fully trained in legionella prevention and water treatment as well as all regulations surrounding the identification, assessment, prevention or control and management of water systems.
